New Places to Eat & Drink

Delray Beach has no shortage of fantastic restaurants to explore, and somehow, the city’s dining scene continues to welcome exciting new additions to keep our palates stimulated.

At the new Sundy Village on Atlantic Avenue, you can find two lively spots: Double Knot and Barcelona Wine Bar. Double Knot offers a modern Japanese izakaya-style dining experience featuring sushi, sashimi, robatayaki, and creative cocktails. Right next door, Barcelona Wine Bar brings Spanish and Mediterranean-inspired tapas along with an extensive wine selection.

For a morning sweet treat, La Boom Café brings colorful macarons, cookies, brownies, and coffee to the Pineapple Grove Arts District.

Those looking for a casual stop can also visit the new Shake Shack at Plaza at Delray on South Federal Highway, serving the same juicy burgers, crinkle-cut fries, and delicious shakes that helped make the popular fast-casual chain famous after it began as a single cart in New York City more than 20 years ago.

New in Wellness

Delray Beach’s wellness scene is also growing. JETSET Pilates recently opened its first Delray location, offering energetic workouts that blend reformer Pilates, strength training, and cardio.

This new studio gives visitors and locals another way to stay active before heading out to explore Downtown Delray.

A Look at What’s to Come

Along with everything that has recently opened, several new concepts are still in the works and preparing to join the neighborhood.

Maman, a French-inspired café, bakery, and restaurant, is expected to open in Sundy Village, bringing its signature pastries, coffee, breakfast, and lunch offerings to Delray Beach.
